Heather Joan Graham was born on January 29, 1970, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and first introduced to the performing arts through her school’s production of The Wizard of Oz after moving to Agoura Hills, California at the age of nine.
Following two years of studying English at UCLA, Heather decided to pursue a professional career in acting and later made her on-screen, unaccredited debut in the drama Mrs. Soffel (1984) alongside Diane Keaton and Mel Gibson.

That same year, Heather succumbed to yet another unaccredited role as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito’s young mother in Twins, but quickly propelled her career forward with a memorable performance as a drug-addict friend in Gus Van Sant’s crime drama Drugstore Cowboy (1989) for which she received the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Shortly after, Heather caught the undivided attention of Hollywood when she assumed the role of a young porn star named Rollergirl in the award-winning drama Boogie Nights (1997), ultimately leading the rising starlet down the Blockbuster-brick road.
Heather continued building her popularity with substantial roles in several box-office hits such as Scream 2 (1997) and Lost in Space (1998), but reached true celebrity status when she starred opposite Mike Myers in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). Roles alongside some of Hollywood’s most recognized actors soon followed Heather’s lead, including Steve Martin in Bowfinger (1999), Johnny Depp in From Hell (2001) and Adam Sandler in Anger Management (2003).
Around this time, Heather further displayed her comedic chops in the sitcom Scrubs (2004-05) before returning to her dramatic roots in the history drama Bobby (2006) alongside Demi Moore and Anthony Hopkins. She then starred in the romantic comedy Gray Matters (2006) followed by her celebrated role as a heart-felt stripper in The Hangover (2009) and the drama About Cherry (2012) with James Franco.
