Ledgers Doctors Cleared

February 29, 2008

Heath Ledger

Talk about a quick and painless investigation! The Drug Enforcement Agency had launched a full investigation against two doctors who had prescribed Heath Ledger with the cocktail of meds that resulted in his death on January 22, 2008.

The agency confirmed the investigation on February 28th and it's already over. After questioning the docs, the Drug Enforcement Agency found they had prescribed Ledger other medications, not Oxycontin and Vicodin as they had originally predicted.

Two down, 10 to go! They're going to have to do a lot of traveling if they plan on investigating every one of his doctors. Most of his meds were prescribed in the UK.
