Heath Ledger's Former Apartment Still on the Market

December 05, 2008

A few months after Heath Ledger died of an accidental drug overdose, his SoHo, NY apartment was put on the market.

They weren't even looking to sell the place, just find someone willing to rent it. With his notoriety, you'd think they might have no problem unloading the 4,400 square foot space.

Not so, according to Page Six. "The three-bedroom loft at 419 Broome St., which was officially relisted in late July after Ledger died there last January, couldn't attract a tenant - most likely because of its spooky provenance and a cooling high-end rental market."

Gee, do you think it has anything to do with the fact that the rent is $26,000 a month??
