Heath Ledger's Daughter Matilda To Inherit Estate

Heath Ledger
Heath Ledger's father has spilled the beans on where all of his late son's money is headed. Heath died in January of an accidental overdose and his parents and sisters were the original beneficiaries named in his will.

Things have changed and now the entire estate will be left to Michelle Williams and Heath's two-year-old daughter, Matilda. "There is no claim. Our family has gifted everything to Matilda," Heath's father told the News Ltd paper.

We're talking about an estimated $16.6 million, so this little girl is going to be set for life. That is, if the person in charge of all that cash behaves responsibly.

Meanwhile, Heath Ledger's insurance company is trying to get out of paying the family $10 million dollars, claiming his death may have been a suicide instead of accidental. Matilda's trustee has already filed a claim against ReliaStar, claiming the company is acting "maliciously, fraudulently and/or oppressively ... depriving plaintiff of the insurance policy benefits."
