Heath Ledger's Autopsy Results Might Be Released Today

Heath Ledger

Heath Ledger’s autopsy results will most probably be released today. A spokesperson for the NYC Medical Examiner’s office said that there is a “big possibility” that the final results will be released today.

As you guys remember the initial autopsy, which was conducted immediately after, his death came back inconclusive. That was when they ordered additional tests.

A forensic pathologist told People Magazine that inconclusive findings "rules out the natural causes, such as a brain hemorrhage, pneumonia or a cardiac abnormality."

"That leaves drug overdose as the most likely cause of death," Michael Baden said.

Meanwhile, Heath Ledger’s family arrived back to their hometown of Perth, Australia today. Ledger will have his final resting place in his hometown.
