Heath Ledger Helped Model Amber Smith Get Clean

Heath Ledger's family should be proud to know that he's still helping people even after his untimely death.

Former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Amber Smith said that Heath's sudden passing due to an accidental drug overdose played a part in her getting clean.

She told the new issue of Steppin Out Magazine: "I was terrified when [he] OD'd. I've OD'd like that twice in my life. I’ve woken up with my mouth and fingertips blue. But luckily I've woken up."

We're glad to hear that she finally got a wake up call about her life. Amber stars in the new reality show "Celebrity Rehab" and has proudly managed to stay clean and sober.
