Like we mentioned earlier this afternoon, actor Heath Ledger was found dead this afternoon in NYC. He was found naked on the bedroom floor face down surrounded by pills.
New York Police department says the death was accidental, and not a suicide attempt. Despite several media reports, Mary-Kate Olsen did not own the apartment he was found in.
Ledger was pronounced dead at 3:35PM ET when the police arrived at the SoHo apartment. He had a substance abuse problem, but he had reportedly been clean for the past year.
