Hayden Panettiere Talks About Dad's Arrest

Hayden Panettiere has finally broken her silence about her fathers arrest. Alan Panettiere was arrested earlier this month after he allegedly hit his wife Lesley after a drunken night out.

Alan was released on $50,000 bail, and the family quickly released a statement saying the entire thing was "a big misunderstanding" and that things were just "peachy."

When asked by Extra to clear up the incident, Hayden replied: "It was blown way out of proportion by a sheriff who wanted his 15 minutes of fame. My family is wonderful, so very happy. We're all great."

In the real world, when families are great, there's no need to call the cops. Maybe there really isn't anything wrong between her parents, and they just drank too much and had an intoxicated fight. They wouldn't be the first couple to brawl after one too many drinks!
