Hayden Panettiere: It's "Exciting" Dating a Boxer

Hayden Panettiere is usually very hush hush about her personal life, but now that she's dating a boxer, she wants the whole world to know how exciting that is.

While in Germany over the weekend supporting her boxer beau Wladimir Klitschko, Hayden told reporters, “I’ve never had an athlete as a boyfriend before, and it’s an exciting experience,” she said. “I think it’s awesome that he’s so athletic, but I’m most fascinated with his intelligence. He’s unbelievably clever.

“Even though I’m small, I can dish it out too. But I have to admit, I feel really protected with such a strong man by my side. Now, whenever someone’s bugging me, I say: ‘Look out, my boyfriend is a boxer!’”

Hayden began dating Wladimir in December, a few months after her relationship with her 'Heroes' co-star Milo Ventimiglia went sour.

Hayden and Wladimir certainly look like an odd couple, but she seems the happiest we've ever seen her, so more power to her!
