It's been 24 hours since photographers ambushed Harry Styles on a date with Kendall Jenner and his team is already working on keeping his name out of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
According to The Sun’s source close to his camp:
“Whatever happens, if the relationship develops or not, E! have been told that Harry is not to be mentioned on the program.”
Basically, Harry—and by extension, One Direction as a whole—are being used as bargaining chips here. Translation: If E! wants to keep a working relationship with the boy band, they need to swing their weight to keep “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” producers from covering their dinner date on the program.
After just landing in the U.S. to promote his group’s new album Midnight Memories, Harry took Kendall to Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood. But he’s not interested in having it over-scrutinized by the media, like his previous relationship with Taylor Swift was.
“Harry wants to keep things as private as possible,” the source added, “and isn’t going to become part of the reality series like others in the past who have been linked to the Kardashian-Jenner clan.”
