Harry Potter Star Busted for Growing Pot

Harry Potter actor Jamie Waylett, aka Vincent Crabbe is probably wishing he could just hop on his broomstick and fly to back Hogwarts right about now.

The nineteen-year-old British actor was arrested back on April 2nd after police found eight bags of marijuana and a knife in a car he was riding in. When returning to his house, reports say that 10 marijuana plants were found, worth just under $3000.

When Wylett pleaded guilty of the charges Tuesday at the City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court, also admitting to growing his own plants.

According to the NY Daily News, the pot was being grown under powerful hydroponics lights, right next to Waylett's Playstation and his DJ decks. He now faces a maximum sentence of up to fourteen years!

How is Jamie to play one of Hogwarts’ nastiest bullies from behind bars!? Well one thing is for sure, Dumbledore would certainly never approve of such behavior.

Jamie’s charge was announced just hours before he walked the red carpet for the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince premiere in London. He’d better enjoy the limelight now, since this may be one of his last red carpet affairs!
