Harrison Ford Wants To Save The Tigers

June 10, 2008

Sounds like a scene in Indiana Jones! Harrison Ford is currently devoting his time to saving an endangered species of tigers. He joined the World Bank for a press conference in D.C. yesterday to bring attention to his cause.

He said at the event, "I'm here to celebrate the World Bank's plan to form a global alliance of conservation partners, to work with the tiger range nations in order to secure a future for these magnificent creatures."

And he's not the only celeb on board. Bo Derek and Robert Duvall are very involved in this organization as well. The group is hoping their work will help put a stop to the killing of tigers in thirteen different countries.

Celebs and their causes! You never know what you're going to hear about next!

While I appreciate his concern for the tigers, I feel like there are bigger issues he could throw his celebrity weight behind...
