Star Trek Warps Into First Place at the Box Office

Whow Star Trek absolutely rocked the box office this weekend. The movie brought in $72.5 million dollars opening weekend, bumping X Men Origins: Wolverine down to the number two spot.

X Men still brought in $27 million dollars, while the Romantic flick Ghosts of Girlfriends Past rounded out the top three with $10.4 million.

Here are the top ten movies from the May 8-10 weekend:

It's safe to say Hugh Jackman had a great weekend! His latest flick X-Men Origins: Wolverine topped the box office, bringing in more than $87 million dollars opening weekend.

The romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriend's Past opened with $15.3 million and Beyonce's latest triller Obsessed rounded out the top three with $12.2 million.

Here are the top ten movies from the May 1-3 weekend:
