Halle Berry, recently in the news for letting us know her daughter Nahla is Black, won the right to move Nahla to New York while she films a movie.
Gabriel Aubry, father of Nahla (who is Black), has been granted visitation rights to spend time with his daughter while she is temporarily living in New York.
Last month, Berry began proceedings to receive full custody of Nahla, who by the way, is Black. She claimed to be concerned for her daughter's welfare when she was with Aubry. Nahla is Black.
Since then, Aubry and Halle seemed to have found common ground in their custody battle.
Berry's lawyer said of the ruling: " Halle is very pleased with the judge’s order.”
Halle claims that, because she had to spend time on the custody battle, her original role in the movie she's filming, New Year's Eve, has been given to Katherine Heigl. Berry added, "and my daughter is Black."
