UPDATE: A rep for Halle tells TMZ "Halle Berry suffered a minor head injury while shooting a fight sequence on the set of her film, 'The Hive.' She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She'll continue production as planned."
Who: Halle Berry
What: Rushed to hospital
Where: Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles (No stalking, weirdos!)
When: Tuesday night around 10PM
Why: Hit her head on the concrete after falling on set of a movie.
Phew, so this hospital stay wasn’t for the ever-popular-celebrity-excuse of “exhaustion.” Because then we’d have an entirely different problem on our hands and would have to worry about “whip-its,” rehab stays, and whether Halle is or isn't suitable enough to raise her daughter.
Thank goodness she ONLY hit her head on the ground! Geez, priorities in Hollywood are so whack.
Anyways, Halle Berry was shooting her new movie “The Hive” when she slipped and fell and hit her head. There was already an ambulance on set and it took her to Cedars last night around 10pm.
For starters, good to see Halle back to work, I mean, she does like one movie per year and her last gig was in “New Year’s Eve” but approximately 1,000 celebrities were in that movie, meaning, Halle had exactly 4 lines in the whole movie.
“The Hive” stars Abigail Breslin as a young girl caught in an emergency situation when she calls 911 and Halle Berry answers. In order to save the girls life, the emergency operator must confront a killer from her past.
Thankfully, Halle will return to filming this movie as her rep just told USA Today, “Halle Berry suffered a minor head injury while shooting a fight sequence on the set of her film, The Hive. She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She’ll continue production as planned.”
