From Halle Berry to Jessica Simpson: Celebs Colored Engagement Rings

Halle Berry isn't the first celeb to get a colorful engagement ring. Call it tacky or call it festive, these are the celebs who thought it was a good idea to put a colorful sparkler on their ring finger.
Jessica Simpson: Jessica Simpson, who is most definitely the most classy lady in Hollywood ("Is this tuna or chicken?!") has a red engagement ring. The Neil Lane designed ruby red ring is flanked by two diamonds and is estimated to cost around $100,000. You may call it "red hot" but I think I saw the same ring in one of those machines outside the grocery store.
Carrie Underwood: When Underwood got engaged she accepted a platinum and yellow diamond ring. Yellow engagement rings, this I can deal with. Especially if you have a Spring wedding, that's cute!
Kate Middleton: When Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton with the late Princess Diana's ring, Middleton added some new blue bling to her ring finger. The Saphire-and-diamond ring makes sense for this couple, because isn't blue a Royal color?
Carmen Electra: Back in 2008, Carmen Electra was proposed to with a black diamond. Electra describes the gothic ring as "perfect for us. [It's] different - it's our style." Our love is like this diamond...black - That's no way to start a marriage.
Jennifer Lopez: Lopez received a 6.1 carat pink diamond engagement ring from Ben Affleck when he proposed to her back in 2002. J.Lo just doesn't seem like a pink-ring kind of girl? Maybe that's why their union didn't last?
