Gwyneth Paltrow Predicts Oscar for Ex?

They might have broken off their engagement in 1997, but there's no hard feelings between former lovebirds Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt. According to the New York Daily News the actress was in New York City where she checked out a screening her ex's latest flick Babel.

"It's the best performance Brad's ever given," the Oscar-winning actress told the News, and predicted that Pitt would take home a statue himself. The movie, which centers around a Moroccan boy's tragic mistake, "makes you want to take good care of your children," added the mother of two. Gwyneth was so destrought by the film that she skipped the after party at the SoHo Grand to rush home to her children to hug them and cry.
