According to the UK Sun, the Oscar-winning actress is battling those extra baby pounds she put on before giving birth to second child Moses in April. For years she has been famed for her macrobiotic diet, an ultra-strict grains regime inspired by the ancient Japanese.
However we hear Gwyneth has taken up an even more extreme diet which was drawn up by her long-term health guru Dr. Nish Joshi. He’s the same man who introduced Gwyneth to cupping (a suction therapy that involves pressing jars full of hot air to the skin to improve blood flow and remove toxins). We have tried cupping ourselves and it’s extremely painful, but it definitely helps remove all stress tensions and toxins in your body. The result however is some temporary strange red marks on your back.
Gwyneth has recently started an eight-week regime which is extremely severe. Here is the scoop on the diet and it looks brutal.
She is banned from wheat, dairy products, sugar, gluten, alcohol and red meat. She is allowed turkey, chicken and white fish but NO swordfish. Vegetables are allowed however she can not have tomatoes, peppers or other fruits, except for bananas. Gwyneth also takes various herbal supplements to flush out toxins and undergoes regular reflexology and cupping sessions with a series of colonics.
