Gwyneth Paltrow And Chris Martin Buy $10 Million Dollar Estate in L.A.

East Coast/ London elitist’s Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Chris Martin have just bought a house in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles.

No, it’s not the Rancic house that we mentioned earlier that is available in the same hood, that one isn’t big (pretentious?) enough.

According both TMZ and the real estate site Zillow, The Martin’s just shelled out $10.45 million for 8,000 square feet, 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, and some horse stables -- you know, so you can keep it humble.

The mansion was a “concept house” built by designer Windsor Smith and features rooms that showcase the talents of other LA designers including Candace Barnes, Peter Dunham and Kathryn Ireland.

Smith, who designed the kitchen personally, paid special attention to the room (the photos prove it) having declared that, “kitchens are the new living rooms.”

But back to Gwynnie, who would have thought she would end up being a bargain hunter? The house was reduced by nearly a million and half since it hit the market last year.

With a deal like that, they really should have bought two!

Despite it’s location, the house still has a very obvious East Coast aesthetic kind of vibe. And as the couple seems to prefer calling NYC and the Hampton’s home, this over the top abode, might just be a weekend retreat.

Whoa.
