It's not easy being with a girl who previously dated Brad Pitt, even when you're married to her! Just ask Chris Martin, who's wife Gwyneth Paltrow dated Brad long before they met. He says that fact alone drives him to make his band successful.

He tells Rolling Stone, "You've got to be hungry. If your wife went out with Brad Pitt, you'd want to prove yourself, you know what I mean?"

Well, we'd say Chris has been pretty successful in his own right. And he and Gwyneth make such a great couple! But it's cute that he still wants to impress her as much as possible.
