Taylor Momsen To Return To Work

Gossip Girl’s Taylor Momsen will be returning to work within a few days following her hospitalization. Guess she was able to beat that “life-threatening throat infection” pretty quickly!

Her doctor, Shawn Nasseri, tells UsWeekly.com, "She has been hospitalized for a severe, potentially life-threatening throat infection since Sunday. After aggressive antibiotics and medications, she is expected to make a full recovery in the next three to five days."

Taylor was released from hospital on Wednesday and is now recuperating at home, according to People.com. She also says she’s planning on being back at work in New York by next week. The CW issued this statement about little Jennie: "Taylor Momsen is a beloved member of our Gossip Girl cast and we are happy to report she is on the road to a speedy recovery. We all look forward to her planned return to work on Friday."
