OMFG! Gossip Girl is about come back for season 2 in September, and the promo ads are causing quite a stir with a group called the Parent's Television Council. They hate the shots, calling them "every parent's nightmare" and "mind-blowingly inappropriate."

PTC director of communications Melissa Henson tells the Associated Press, "I think it reeks of desperation, if they have to position themselves as so edgy and so controversial that they've been called out by us."

They're still angry about GG's use of OMFG last season, which CW marketing boss Rick Haskins defends, saying it could stand for "Oh My Freaking Goodness." Yeeeeaaaahhh. Because that's how teenagers talk.

We don't mind the posters. It gets us excited for all the drama for next season. Check out the shots. What do you think? Are they too racy?
