Gordon Ramsay, the Simon Cowell of the food world, just bought a huge mansion in Bel Air, California.
It pays to angrily yell ‘PISS OFF!’ in people’s faces. Or call them donkeys. He’s done that, too.
At 8,000 square feet, Ramsey’s new digs include five bedrooms and six bathrooms, a huge pool that seems to sprawl through the entire property—so basically a really fancy moat—in addition to a hot tub and wet bar.
At $7 million, that’s a steal. Granted, I could never afford that steal, but still, it’s a pretty good deal if you’re, you know, drowning in money like Uncle Scrooge in the intro to Duck Tales.
There are also dark walnut floors, a guesthouse, master bedroom with a fireplace and views of the ocean. But probably the coolest thing about the house is that his neighbors are David and Victoria Beckham.
Gordon has a home in London, where he hails from and shares with his wife Tana and their four children. The family spends a lot of time in Los Angeles, though, while Gordon is filming Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares and MasterChef.
Meanwhile, Ramsay will be spending quite a bit of time in Las Vegas, too. He’s set to open a steakhouse at Paris Las Vegas. It’ll be his first Las Vegas venue, and it will open in Spring. The restaurant will hold about 300, and includes a large bar area, chef’s table and private dining room. It’s to replace Les Artistes Steakhouse.
