Good Morning America

Good Morning America is just canceling performances left and right! First it was Adam Lambert’s that was scrapped, and now the morning show has had a change of heart with Chris Brown.

Last week it was announced that Chris would appear on the program next week to give an interview, as well as perform. Now GMA has canceled the performance portion of the appearance, but the interview will remain. The interview will now run on 20/20, and ABC spokesman Jeffrey Schneider says clips may also air on GMA.

The interview, which was already taped last weekend with Robin Roberts, is reportedly an in-depth talk about what really happened the night he beat up Rihanna. According to the New York Post, Chris comes clean about details he’s never spoken of before.

Chris’ interview will air on December 11th.
Melissa Rycroft has had a pretty amazing rise to fame since getting dumped on The Bachelor! She’s probably thanking her lucky stars she didn’t end up with Jason Mesnick!

She went from that to Dancing With the Stars, and now she’s joining the team on Good Morning America. Access Hollywood reports that Melissa will be working as a special contributor for the show this summer, doing anywhere between 8 and 10 pieces for the show.

Melissa confirmed the news on her Twitter this morning, writing, “Guess who just got a job with Good Morning America??? WHAT?!?”

GMA hasn’t confirmed the news officially. Congrats to Melissa!

Everyone wants a piece of Britney Spears. She's on the verge of a huge comeback, and when her new album comes out, she'll be expected to give a huge live show on a morning show. She's reportedly struck a deal with Good Morning America to play a free concert in Bryant Park in NYC, which has started a feud among rival networks.

A source tells The New York Post, "Everybody wanted her - she was the big get but GMA and ABC out-foxed Today and NBC." Brit has reportedly not yet decided whether she will do an interview during her GMA slot .

?She is set to take the stage December 2nd. Which morning show do you prefer?

Rosie needs a job. Because if she had one, it might have saved her from saying what she said on Good Morning America. She said she wants to be the posterchild for bipolar disease. Roro told them she suffers from bipolar disease just like Britney, but that she's better equipped at dealing with it and the press.

"Rather than put her face on mental illness, or Brooke Shields, who had postpartum depression, use me."

Enough with the celebrity endorsements! You can't just claim an illness, and make it your own!

Janet's new CD drops today and she's in New York performing on GMA. Check out her performance here.

ABC's Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, donned her bald head for the Isaac Mizrahi Fall 2008 fashion show this morning.

This is the first time Robin has appeared on TV without her wig since being diagnosed, and it was part of GMA's "I Dare You" series.  I give her so much credit for doing that. It's hard enough being on camera with people scrutinizing your every move, but to have the courage to do without her wig, after just completing chemo, is a feat above and beyond.  We wish her a full and healthy recovery.

Doesn't it feel like 'The Spice Girls' reunion tour is never ending? Well, their still going and they were on the Good Morning America show where Geri Haliwell was left red faced and speechless. Watch the interview.

Do you kiss your mama with that mouth?! Diane Keaton dropped the F- Bomb on Good Morning America, and it looked like Diane Sawyer was going to fall off her chair. Good thing she did. GMA needs a ratings booster after that snoresville Katie Holmes interview.

Tom Cruise's wifey Katie Holmes channeled her inner Anna Wintour while on the set of Good Morning America today. Here are some highlights from the interview...

Katie on her idea of the perfect wedding day:
“I got ready and I was so excited. And I, you know, I looked at my dad, and said ‘Honestly, do I look OK? I mean, this is important to me.’ You know, he was really sweet. He said, ‘You look great.’ And the moment that the doors opened and I saw Tom, I was just locked in. I mean, it was so magical. It was perfect.”

Katie on Suri:
“Now she’s talking all the time. So she’s saying, ‘Who’s that? Who’s that?’ We were at FAO Schwartz last night (pictured left). We got in, running around, eating ice cream and playing with all of the toys. And Tom and I were playing with a lot of the toys ourselves. It’s fun for adults. You get carried away. She’s delightful. I mean, she’s very strong and bright. And she picks out some of her clothes, and she loves running around. She’s beautiful, very smart.”

Katie on costar Diane Keaton:
“[I learned a] tremendous amount from her. “She’s obviously a great actress. I loved watching the way she prepared for scenes. She’s a genius. I mean, every take is different and perfect. And she’s also, you know, she just came out with her book and she’s a mother. She’s interested in so many things. What a life she’s had.”

Katie on starring in Mad Money:
“”I love, you know, working with a female director. A movie with all of these women. The three of us really got to know each other in the hair and makeup trailer. We had about 2½ hours every morning. We talked about movies, fashion, motherhood, designing. We listened to Queen Latifah’s new album [’The Sisterhood’].”
