Glee has already landed some huge guest stars like Neil Patrick Harris and Kristen Chenoweth, and they’re now lining up one of the biggest breakout stars of the year.
That’s right, according to EW, show execs are trying to land Susan Boyle to appear on the hit show. And even better—they want her for the Christmas episode in season two!
Boyle and the cast of Glee are both signed by Columbia, so show creator Ryan Murphy is hoping not only for a guest spot, but for her to be a part of the Glee Christmas album!
"I have two words for you: Lunch. Lady," says Murphy. "I think Kurt would just die to give her a Christmas makeover. I don't even know if she's interested but it's been pitched."
As for the Christmas album, Rob Stringer, Columbia/Epic's chairman, wouldn't confirm any details but did say, "All very interesting ideas. I'll bring them up at the next development meeting.”
Glee is officially the show to guest star on. Don’t miss next week’s episode all dedicated to Lady Gaga!
