After a nationwide search, FOX would like to introduce the world to the two newest Gleeks for the upcoming fourth season of their beloved hit musical comedy, “Glee.“
Let us welcome Dean Geyer and Jacob Artist.
Geyer, is a South African native and a singing/songwriting/actor whose credits include being a contestant on “Australian Idol” and parts on the Australian TV series “Neighbours” as well as FOX’s “Terra Nova.”
Artist is a New York native who has previously been on “Melissa and Joey” and in the made for TV movie “Blue Lagoon: The Awakening.”
As was announced months ago around the season three finale, this season of “Glee” will see the series embracing a new direction, and splitting the plot lines. Audiences will follow the graduating seniors as they move on to a performing arts school in New York City, and simultaneously keep up with the kids lyrical shenanigans back at William McKinley High School.
Geyer’s character is set to be a special interest for Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) as she moves on to life and love in NYC. And Artist is a future hopeful member of the infamous glee club who’s attitude threatens to keep him from singing stardom.
So far, confirmed guest stars for this season include Kate Hudson, Sarah Jessica Parker and British pop star Cheryl Cole.
And did we mention that these new additions are as easy on the eyes as they are the ears?
But don’t take our word for it, look/listen for yourself. “Glee” season 4 premieres on FOX Thursday September 13.
