Glee is leaving the states! But thankfully it’s just temporary. I suppose we can share!
Show creator Ryan Murphy announced today that his cast is going on tour in the United Kingdom this summer. They’ll hit the road starting in Manchester on June 22, and do dates in London and Dublin as well!
“People around the world want to see our cast live and in person, so this European tour is our way of thanking them for the unbelievable way they’ve embraced our little show,” Murphy said in a statement.
Ok, that’s all great and everything, but how bout bringing the cast back to the states for all of us who missed the tour the first time around!
“And for everyone in America who has asked if we’ll be back to a city near them this summer, stay tuned,” Murphy added, “We’ll have some exciting news very soon.”
Well, that makes me feel A LOT better. The whole cast is rumored to be a part of the tour, including newbie Darren Criss. I hear he’s becoming a series regular too!
They’d be stupid not to keep him—his rendition of “Teenage Dream” made it to #1 on Billboard.
Looking forward to the “news” Murphy has for us!
