Glee Cast Fired From Thanksgiving Day Parade

The cast of Glee was scheduled to appear in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade next month, but they’ve just been banned!

And according to TMZ, it’s because NBC, the network who puts on the parade, is a little jealous. Glee, a Fox show, is killing it in the ratings. Not so much can be said for NBC’s current lineup. Many of their shows are doing so well, and it’s not even fall sweeps yet! Last month, Glee became the first new fall series to earn a full season pickup. They bring in 7.8 million an episode.

Macy’s initially invited the cast to perform on Turkey Day, but NBC has since asked them to pull the plug on them. Reps for both networks declined to comment.
