The obvious problem with a TV series set in high school is the inevitable four-year expiration/graduation date of the plotline… unless the show strictly focuses on the teachers (but seriously, who cares about them?).

Though some character driven classics have succeeded in following their peeps into college, Gossip Girl, Gilmore Girls, 90210 if you’re feeling retro, Saved By the Bell if you’re feeling…. cheesy—but Glee, by conception, is firmly routed in William McKinley High School.

So fans are left wondering, how are we supposed to care about the club sans its crucial graduating members?
For those of you don’t think Lindsay Lohan has what it takes to stage a comeback, we have proof that Lindsay is working! Exhibit A: photos of Lindsay from the set of “Glee”. Ok, so it’s not exactly an Oscar winning role, but Lindsay showed up to something, learned some lines, and played a character, even though the character she played was herself. Whatever, the girl has something to file for the 2012 tax year!
Don't MISS out on Breaking News!
On Tuesday night, fame proved a little overwhelming for actress Amber Riley. Or at least one part of it did!

At an Academy screening of “Glee” at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in Hollywood, the 26-year-old fainted and collapsed while posing for photos on the red carpet.

Amber sent reassurance to her fans that no lasting harm was done, tweeting: “Hey guys, I'm okay :) I got a little dizzy from all the photog flashes! You'd think I's be used to it by now, still a red carpet amateur I guess. Gonna get checked out but I feel fine. Thank you for all the concern and well wishes.”
Ashley Fink is not coming back to “Glee" anymore. Quick question: Who is Ashley Fink?

Ashley Fink played Lauren Zizes, whose character burst onto the Glee-scene during season two and dated hot mohawk guy, I mean, Mark Saling’s character. She then stuck around playing Chris Colfer’s character’s best friend and we expected her to become a very integral part of the show.

Well, at the start of Season three, her character dramatically quit the New Directions and hasn’t been seen in an episode since.
The people over at Forbes, who make a living by counting cash, have just put together a list of the top 10 most profitable shows on television. They measure “most profitable” as the shows that bring in the most ad revenue per half hour.

Some of these shows are a no-brainer, like American Idol, but others that made the list are surprising. Like “Mad Love,” apparently that was a show? On actual TV? In America?

The most profitable show is “American Idol.” It’s revenue for 2011 was down 6% from the previous year, but it still brings in $6.64 million per half hour.

TV’s 10 Most Profitable Shows.

10. “Modern Family” ($2.13 million per half hour)
9. “Mad Love” ($2.59 million per half hour)
Lindsay Lohan is set to film her “Glee” episode soon where she will play a “celebrity judge” at Nationals, and the cast appears to be genuinely excited about it, despite Lindsay and Glee's almost-lawsuit drama.

Lindsay, who likes to sue people when they say mean, yet true things about her, threatened to sue Glee and show creator Ryan Murphy in 2010 when guest star Gwyneth Paltrow made a joke about Lindsay going to rehab.
Lindsay Lohan might actually be making a comeback! Apparently Ryan Murphy, creator of Glee, must have blacked out during all of Lindsay Lohan’s recent SNL appearance because he wants her on Glee.

Lindsay wont be singing during the episode, but fingers crossed she will, but Lindsay is set to play herself in the Glee episode.

An insider at Fox says the deal is done and Lindsay will play a celebrity judge at Nationals! In past seasons, the celebrity judges at “Nationals” have been Josh Groban and Olivia Newton-John.
Nude photos are the new Hollywood Walk of Fame star.

The latest star to have their intimate photos leak online is ‘Glee’ star Heather Morris. Yesterday, a series of photos leaked that seem to star the 25 year-old actress.

One shot shows Morris wearing her ‘Slave 4 U ‘ outfit from the Britney Spears episode of ‘Glee,’ and in another one, she wears a black bikini top and miniskirt.
The much buzzed about new show, Smash premiered last night and even though it’s been billed as “Glee for adults” “Glee 2.0” and also, “Who is Katharine Mcphee?” (okay, that last one was just me), Smash got off on a high-note.

This musical drama is more drama than comedy, unlike its predecessor Glee. Where Glee kids throw slushies in faces and every episode is about “going to regionals” and having “sing-offs,” Smash tells the story of the behind the scenes drama as cast and crew try to put a musical about Marilyn Monroe on Broadway.
The people have spoken. And it turns out: you have an undying love for Katy Perry, Glee is still a thing, and Neil Patrick Harris does a damn good job pretending he's not gay. That was the gist of the 2012 People's Choice Awards, but there was oh, so much more.

Fans voted online for their favorite artists, entertainers, performers, etc., and then everyone crowded L.A.'s Nokia Theater to see who got what. The show, peppered with skits, Demi Lovato songs and inspirational speeches, was just what it's supposed to be—entertaining. And without further adieu, here are the best and worst moments of the 2012 People's Choice Awards.
