The much buzzed about new show, Smash premiered last night and even though it’s been billed as “Glee for adults” “Glee 2.0” and also, “Who is Katharine Mcphee?” (okay, that last one was just me), Smash got off on a high-note.

This musical drama is more drama than comedy, unlike its predecessor Glee. Where Glee kids throw slushies in faces and every episode is about “going to regionals” and having “sing-offs,” Smash tells the story of the behind the scenes drama as cast and crew try to put a musical about Marilyn Monroe on Broadway.
The people have spoken. And it turns out: you have an undying love for Katy Perry, Glee is still a thing, and Neil Patrick Harris does a damn good job pretending he's not gay. That was the gist of the 2012 People's Choice Awards, but there was oh, so much more.

Fans voted online for their favorite artists, entertainers, performers, etc., and then everyone crowded L.A.'s Nokia Theater to see who got what. The show, peppered with skits, Demi Lovato songs and inspirational speeches, was just what it's supposed to be—entertaining. And without further adieu, here are the best and worst moments of the 2012 People's Choice Awards.

When you think ‘Glee’, you don’t usually think ‘horror.’ Well, maybe if you hate musicals.

But a handful of stars from ‘Glee’--including Lea Michele, Jayma Mays, and Dianna Agron--have teamed up to recreate some scenes from iconic Hollywood horror films. And the photos were shot for Elle magazine by none other than Glee co-creator, Ryan Murphy.

If you haven’t been able to get into the holiday spirit this year, I have one suggestion: put on your ugliest Christmas sweater. Because nothing says ‘Tis the Season' like wearing an oversized reindeer with a light-up nose.

Lately people have been digging their hideous but festive holiday sweaters out of the back of their closets and wearing them, albeit ironically. Celebs are jumping on the ugly Christmas sweater bandwagon, too. Here are our favorite celebrity ugly Christmas sweater moments.

Justin Bieber: Bieber celebrated his Christmas album by wearing an awful Christmas sweater while performing on the Today show. Look at that thing. It’s like high school letterman jacket meets Santa.
HOLLYSCOOP EXCLUSIVE
Last week, sources told US Weekly that Glee creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy was a total tyrant on set. He was apparently making "life miserable for the cast" and that the Glee kids have "grown to hate him."

However, Glee star Chris Colfer, who plays Kurt Hummel on the Fox series, says those rumors are totally false.

"It's a rumor," Colfer told Hollyscoop at CNN Heroes event in Los Angeles. “It's people trying to create a story. I assure you that is all it is. Really, it's not true."

So apparently, everything is just rainbows and ponies over on the set of Glee, according to Colfer.
“Glee” star Lea Michele has broken up with her long-term boyfriend. Awww, cue Glee acapella version of “Don’t go breaking my heart” followed by “Keep Holding On” and then “Stronger.”

Lea Michele says her 17-month relationship with Broadway actor Theo Stockman has “run its course.” She says the split was amicable and that the two just realized it was time to move on.

A rep for Lea told E! News, “This is not a dramatic break-up, the relationship just ran its course. They are still friends and will always be friends.”

Everything seemed fine in paradise for the couple, no really, they were vacationing together in Hawaii in July.

This is a twitter feud that I just don't understand. Sarah Hyland from "Modern Family" appeared as a guest host on E!'s "Fashion Police" and joked about "Glee" star Lea Michele's ridiculous red carpet poses.

While the regular hosts of Fashion Police make fun of celebs on a daily basis, poor little Sarah Hyland calls out Lea Michele's totally diva red carpet habits one time and gets sh-t for it.

In a nutshell, Sarah Hyland did a hilarious impression on Fashion Police of how Lea Michele poses on the red carpet.

While posing, she explained each move, "So it's like a slow-motion kinda thing. It's just like, she puts her hands on her hips like this and sticks out her collarbone to make her look skinner and she goes [pouts lips] sticks out her lips."

Glee star Dianna Agron is in the September issue of Cosmopolitan, and the actress discusses why she likes to keep her private life the way it is—private.

"It's really sad looking at people like Lindsay Lohan," Agron said. "She's an amazing actress, but you see what happens when people know too much about your personal life. They start not being able to look at you the same way professionally. I don't want that to happen to me."

Harsh, yet true. Agron previously dated Alex Pettyfer, and while there was a lot of drama surrounding their split, Agron remained low-key about it. That's definitely not like Lindsay-like. Lohan has openly Tweeted about her relationships and her drama.

In fact, Lohan is becoming a career model for many young actresses. They look at her career to see what not to do.
Lea Michele has had one amazing year. Thanks to the success of Glee, she’s pretty much a household name now, which means she gets to play dress up and grace the cover of magazines we all grew up with.

Lea is featured on the September issue of Harper's Bazaar, which hits newsstands August 16.

In the interview, Lea opens up about her career plans, castmates, and her relationship with her boyfriend, Theo Stockman. Here are some highlights from the interview:

Chris Colfer is saying goodbye to Glee just in time for another Emmy nomination.

Hey he better snatch 'em up while he can. Look what happened to the original cast of 90210 after they left the show…exactly.

Both this year and last, Colfer is the only male actor on Glee to be nominated for an Emmy, “I was very, very nervous,” Colfer told EW. As he should be...
