Summer is already upon us. That means short shorts, bikinis and showing some skin. How can you get a Brazilian style booty without a butt lift? What’s the number one workout if we’re short on time? And what’s the best way to get toned arms?
We talked to Yumi Lee, fitness expert to the stars, to answer those questions (and more). Yumi has trained A-listers like Jessica Alba, Brad Pitt, Pink, Hugh Jackman, Nicole Richie and Demi Moore at her infamous Fitness Factory in Los Angeles.
Now you can put her fitness tips to good use with a brand new pair of Reebok shoes. Yep, we’re giving away TWO free pair of Reeboks. We’ve got one pair of RealFlex Transition 2.0 for men and one pair of RealFlex Fusion TR for women.
These lightweight Reebok shoes feature 76 independent sensors on the bottom of the shoe designed to help provide a “sock like” feel on your feet with the benefits of barefoot running. These shoes retail for $99.99 and can be yours! Tweet us @Hollyscoop & @Reebok letting us know how you're getting in shape for summer and one lucky male and one female will win the awesome shoes.
Hollyscoop: What's the best way to shed a few pounds to get bikini ready for summer?
Yumi Lee: Do 30-60 minutes of cardio first thing in the morning before you eat anything.
HS: How do you get a nice Brazilian style booty for summer?
YL: Lunges are hands down the best exercise for your booty. Lots of walking, reverse and side lunges! With a little added weights or dumbbells would be even better.
HS: If you only have 20 minutes a day to work out, what are the must do's?
YL: Get and keep your heart rate up - no rest breaks for you. Work as many muscles as possible with each exercise, i.e., reverse lunges with a bicep curl, squats with an overhead press or thrusters, shoulder bridge with a sit up.
HS: How do you turn your flabby arms to nice toned ones?
YL: Narrow push-ups or triceps push-ups. You can do them anywhere and don't need any equipment.
HS: How do you get rid of the last few stubborn pounds?
YL: Portion control! Five small meals or snacks a day. Taper your calories and carbohydrates as the day progresses. Don't eat anything within three hours of going to sleep.
