Gisele Bundchen is officially off the market. Her New England Patriots quarterback beau
Tom Brady proposed "this past weekend" and she said yes.
There were reports over the holidays that Tom had proposed, but his father denied it claiming it was nothing but a "rumor, rumor, rumor. We don't know a thing about it. Nobody told me."
The usually low-key couple had a source close to them (aka: their rep) confirm the engagement to People magazine.
"He asked and she accepted," said the source. "The couple is discussing a huge fashionista event in the spring or a more intimate and quicker ceremony in Costa Rica, where Gisele has a home."
The engagement must have been in the works for a while now because Tom was
checking out wedding reception locations back in October.
Poor Leo, first he loses the Best Actor award at the Golden Globes, and now his ex is getting married. We were hoping they would have reconciled, but it looks all hope is lost for that one. Semi congratulations to Gisele and Tom.
