No classic is safe these days, including Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Who could forget that film, and that cast of Sarah Jessica Parker, Helen Hunt, and Shannen Doherty?!
According to Variety the film is getting a re-do. Twentieth Century Fox is on board for the remake, and Michelle Morgan is busy working on the new script.
The original, as you may remember, the original movie featured Sarah Jessica Parker as Janey, a new girl in town who auditions on her favorite dance show "Dance TV." Helen Hunt played her new friend. So far, no actors have been cast.
