Gillian gave birth to a healthy little baby boy that weighed in at 6 lbs., 15 oz., and was named Felix Griffiths. Her new little son was actually born on October 15 in London, but they probably wanted some privacy before making the big announcement.
They already have a son Oscar, 1, so this is Gillian and Mark's second child together. She also has a 13-year-old daughter, Piper, from back in the day when she was briefly married to Julian Ozanne. Two babies under one roof? We wish them both lots of luck.

If this had been Paris Hilton or the notoriously clumsy Britney Spears, we wouldn't even be having this conversation. What you might not know is that Gillian Anderson, 40, is pregnant with her third child.
When she turned out to be fine, director Robert Weide joked with the audience, "Is there a lawyer in the house?" rather than the standard doctor request. Come on, this is Hollywood, after all.
