G.I. Joe

Instead, the studio is screening the film for different focus groups. For example, on Friday, Pramount screen the film for 1000 military service members and their families at Andrews Air Force Base; it’s also focusing marketing efforts in places like Kansas City, Charlotte, N.C., and Columbus, Ohio.
This plan was inspired by the critics’ reaction to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which was in large part, a negative one.
Rob Moore, vice chairman of Paramount Pictures said in a statement, “G.I. Joe is a big, fun, summer event movie — one that we’ve seen audiences enjoy everywhere from Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland to Phoenix, Arizona. After the chasm we experienced with Transformers 2 between the response of audiences and critics, we chose to forgo opening-day print and broadcast reviews as a strategy to promote G.I. Joe. We want audiences to define this film.”
When the trailer for G.I. Joe premiere during the Super Bowl, the reviews were mixed. And now, being the last action film of the summer, Paramount doesn’t want audiences to be deterred by the opinions of critics.
Will you be going to see G.I. Joe? It opens in theaters this weekend, August 7th.

Also, it’s not every day you see the Eiffel Tower slamming down to the ground.
Whether you’re already a G.I. Joe fanatic, or you just like action flicks, this will have something for everyone.
Starring Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Marlon Wayans, and Sienna Miller. Maybe this role will be her saving grace in Hollywood. G.I. Joe opens in theaters August 7th, 2009.

G.I. Joe: A real American hero! Dust off your action figures, because G.I. Joe the movie is coming to a town near you.
I don't recognize any of the other cast members (Rachel Nichols ("P2"), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje ("Lost") and Said Taghmaoui ("The Kite Runner") ), but maybe you do.
I can totally picture Sienna Miller as one of those hot wartime nurses. Maybe she'll get do some martial arts in this movie.

Sienna Miller has been cast for the big budged film G.I. Joe, Variety reports.
Miller will be playing the female lead in the film. She will play “a raven-haired baroness and sexy femme fatale skilled in espionage.”
The film will start filming sometime in February with hopes of a August 7, 2009 release.
“The story is set at Brussels-based GIJOE, an acronym for the Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity, and revolves around an international co-ed force of operatives who use high-tech equipment to battle Cobra, an evil org headed by a Scottish arms dealer.”
Some people aren’t so happy with the casting but I think Sienna Miller is an amazing actress and can pull of any role because she really does have talent!
