Hollyscoop got the details from Dan Aykroyd, who told us: "We are hoping to make the movie with Bill Murray, that's what we hope and that's where we stand. We'll see, we were expecting to make a final announcement in the next month for sure."
So, if Bill Murray isn't too busy crashing strangers' karaoke parties, we should have a third flick on the way. Aykroyd has been working with Harold Ramis on the script, and Eliza Dushku, Sigourney Weaver, and Anna Faris are set to star in the movie.

Topping the list is Ghostbusters, beating out National Lampoon's Vacation and Beverly Hills Cop for the top honors.
The actor who shows up the most on the list is Christopher Guest, responsible for bringing us flicks like Waiting for Guffman and Best In Show. Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn each show up on the list twice.

Steve Carell and Seth Rogen have teamed up for a third edition of Ghostbusters, Dread Central reports.
It doesn’t end there, the original cast members such as Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd might also be a part of the ghost busting.
