Gerard Butler: 'I'm Feeling Good Since Rehab'

Let’s be real, it didn’t really sound like Gerard Butler had much of a problem. Have you seen these celebrity rehab places? He probably just checked in for vacation.

Gerard Butler recently checked into the Betty Ford Center for a three week stint to overcome a dependency on prescription drugs. According to TMZ, Gerard didn’t have a full-blown problem, but he wanted to nip his dependency in the bud before it got out of hand. Plus, those rooms are really, really nice.

“I probably shouldn’t talk about it to you, but I feel pretty good,” Butler told Page Six. He jokingly added: “I don’t think I look too bad.”

Woah, you’re gonna need a pole if you you’re fishing for compliments like that, Gerard. But yes, you look great.

Butler reportedly wanted to seek help when he started abusing his prescription pain medication following a surfing accident on the set of ‘Of Men and Mavericks’ last year. But the dependency originally started on the set of 300 in 2006.

THIS…IS…VICODIIIN!

Gerard’s spokesperson confirmed that the actor completed the treatment program on last Friday, saying that Butler was in “good health.”

Meanwhile, aside from having sex with Brandi Glanville, Gerard recently attended the Oscars, making his first public appearance since it was revealed that he was in rehab. Gerard looked as dashing as ever, wearing a Ferragamo tux. He attended the Vanity Fair Oscar after-party, according to the New York Daily News.
