President George Bush Gets Shoe Thrown at Him

President George W. Bush made a surprise appearance in Iraq today and it's safe to say he was not welcomed with open arms. During a news conference with the Prime Minister of Iraq, a reporter thought it would be a good idea to throw both his shoes at Bush. Bush dodged both shoes, so incase you're wondering none of them hit him.

While he was throwing his shoes, he was yelling "This is the end." According to Bloomberg, throwing a shoe in the Arab culture is a sign of disrespect.

"This is from the widows, the orphans and those who were killed in Iraq," said Muntadar al-Zeidi, a correspondent for Al-Baghdadia television, an Iraqi-owned station based in Cairo, Egypt.

All the security guys attacked the protester and no one will probably ever see him again.

After Bush got attacked by the flying shoes he joked, “I’m OK...All I can report is it is a size 10.”
