Nicole Kidman Asks Clooney to Be Godfather


Rumor has it that Nicole Kidman has asked her longtime pal George Clooney to be the godfather to her unborn child.

A source tells Star magazine: "Nicole asked George to be her baby’s godfather, and he has agreed."

Kidman and Clooney have been BFF for almost 10 years now. They became good pals after filming 'The Peacemaker' back in 1997.

Kidman, and her barely there bump, are reportedly due in July.

Yes, I would be willing to let Darla go to the right man. She would have alot more fun than being stuck with me. I look at her as my daughter. We could always be the BEST of FRIENDS.Thats how we met in the first place, I believe she broke up with her boyfriend and she went on BENDER. I was just trying to CHEER her UP. If this is true, I hope he intends to take it seriously. Being Catholic, Nicole knows that being a godparent is more than just an honorary title.

HER baby? Who in the hell does SHE think she is? I like George Clooney-but did Keith Urban have a say? After all, it is HIS baby, too...or- at least it's supposed to be.

dnt u think that she has already discussed this with keith duh just coz the article doesn't say keith and nicole asked goerge doesn't mean she's all stuck up n like george is gunna b the godfaher n thats that coz she is def not like that..beutifual woman n i bet will b a GREAT mother and wife! god bess :)
