It’s a classic case of art imitating life, or at least the life we fanaticize about him having.
George Clooney is playing swinger in a brand spanking new commercial for his brand spanking new spirits brand, Casamigos Tequila.
The message received for the ad? Drink lots of this sh*t and you’ll bag a lot of chicks… and maybe a few dudes.
Teaming up with the Silver Fox to convey this all-important PSA are the likes of the equally attractive Stacy Keibler, Cindy Crawford, and Rande Gerber—Crawford’s husband who teamed up with Clooney to produce the tequila brand.
So, here’s how the Youtube sex-fest—titled “A Short Film by Casamigos Tequila: Written and Produced by George Clooney"—plays out:
1. Rande walks down the hall. From the looks of his stagger, the glass of straight tequila in his hand, and his undone bow tie, it appears that he’s been endorsing Casamigos all night long. He enters his hotel room to find George and Cindy in bed together. “What’s going on,” he asks?
Latimore’s slow jamming, softcore voicing of “Let’s Straighten It Out,” which plays out as the soundtrack, fills in the blanks.
2. Similar scenario. George enters his room to find Cindy and Stacy in bed together. “What’s up?” Not that he, nor do they, seem to mind him barging in on the scene. Lady scoreboard says: Tequilla-2, Good decisions-0.
3. Cindy and Stacy enter another room and find the boys together, officially confirming that this tequila not only tastes great, but it eliminates all pre-existing sexual preferences too.
Of course, the entire message of the ad is undermined by the final message “Drink Responsibly,” in which case none of the above would have been accomplished.
