George Clooney: Don't Boycott The Olympics

George Clooney is asking people to stop the campaign to boycott this summer's Olympics in Beijing.  He says it's excessive to boycott the games because China does business with Darfur, and the United States needs to keep a line of communication open. 

But there are several public figures who disagree with George.  For instance, Actress Mia Farrow has publicly condemned China for its alleged support of genocide in Sudan's Darfur region and director Steven Spielberg stepped down from his position as artistic director for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

Read George Clooney's whole quote and you'll find a quite different fact. He is opposed to a boycott of the whole Olympic Games but support a boycott of both opening and closing ceremonies...
