I know a lot of you still think it’s wrong, but this is happening. George Clooney is dating someone who used to axe handle people, wear booty shorts and be referred to as “Nitro Girl”. He did his best to gradually acquaint us with their new relationship, but I guess he felt it was finally time for everyone to accept it. George Clooney and his new girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, walked the red carpet in New York City to promote his new movie, The Descendants.

The couple posed together outside of Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln center. Keibler left her wrestling boots at home and wore a tight black dress as she took photos next to Clooney, who wore a gray suit. And yeah, I know she hasn’t wrestled in forever, but you don’t join the WWE and make history with their first ever “lingerie match” and expect people to forget about it. I’m sorry, you just don’t.

Clooney didn’t say much about his relationship on the carpet, which is typical for the guy, but he did talk about the next best thing: Dancing with the Stars.

“I’m a terrible dancer,” Clooney joked, saying he would never be on the show.

Yep, if we can’t ask you about your girlfriends or ex-girlfriends, we’ll ask you about their jobs. So how do you feel about Vince McMahon’s feud with Stone Cold Steve Austin?

Clooney also talked about his legendary Italian home in Lake Como. He called the panty-dropping pad “one of the most beautiflul places in the world!”

Keibler spent her 32-year birthday with Clooney last Friday in another beautiful place--Cabo San Lucas. She Tweeted: “Chasing the last days of summer.”

I think we’re all still hoping this is one of those practical jokes that George Clooney keeps saying he’s good at. Apparently he, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt love playing jokes on each other. Damon revealed one particular joke Pitt played on Clooney:

“The best one I saw was on George Clooney on Ocean’s 12 when Brad had a fake memo translated and given to the Italian crew. It was this whole thing saying, ‘Please do not look Mr Clooney in the eye and only refer to him as Mr Ocean or Danny’. It was so the opposite of George that he was mortified – and when he found out, he was not happy.”
