George Clooney and Stacy Keibler Go Public With their Romance

Why is this happening? Why? George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis just broke up and he’s already moved on. I was really hoping this whole ‘George Clooney is dating Stacy Keibler’ thing was a big joke, but it’s real people. It’s real.

And it gets worse. George and Stacy just went public with their romance. Omg. They attended not one, but two parties together in Toronto, Ontario. They hit up the Fox Searchlight, Belvedere and Vanity Fair's Toronto Film Festival bash, then ventured to the Grey Goose Soho House party, reports Us Weekly.

"One of the reoccurring themes of the night was that Stacy had her own conversations going on and that she wasn't following Clooney around like a puppy dog," a source tells Us Weekly.

"They were comfortable and affectionate and seemed socially poised as a couple," a witness tells Us. "The two clearly work not only as a pair, but also independently. [Stacy] really stood on her own. George was not overprotective and didn't have to look after her."

"She was confident in her own space," adds the witness. "She would come over to [George] and rub his back, then separate from him again... I've never seen him more comfortable."

I blame this on Elisabetta. Why did you go off and say the M word when you knew it was going to get you dumped? Why?! You don’t test George Clooney. You just don’t do that.

George dropped Elisabetta in a hot minute after she talked about wanting to get married in an Italian magazine.

"I am very happy at the moment - thanks to my man and my fairytale is continuing. We are a couple that never gets bored... I am a firm believer in marriage. In the future I will be married, but for the time being I am happy as I am,” she said in June right before she got dumped.

I just can’t accept George and Stacy. He needs someone on his level of hotness and status. Sure, she’s cute. But she’s not Elisabetta hot. Okay, so maybe I’m a tab bit jealous. And by tad I mean super. But come on George, you could do better.

Good news (for me) is that George’s girlfriends don’t last long. Elisabetta lasted two years but before that most of the other girlfriends had a shelf live of one year. So we have 11 months to go.
