George Clooney attributes his success as an actor to "random" blind luck. Awww...so humble. Clooney admits that he shot to superstardom after he landed the lead on E.R as a doctor. Yes, he was the original McDreamy.

He says, "Think about how random things are. For me, it required a Thursday night time slot for a medical show.

"There had only been two shows in 16 years - L.A. Law and Hill Street Blues - and it opened up. We had a show, and immediately everything changed.

"And you go, 'That has nothing to do with me.' That has to do with pure luck all the way around."
