This is the reason I love George Clooney. He is humble and not afraid to speak his mind. He has blasted celebrities that take themselves way too seriously.
He says, "I won't mention names, but there are certain actors who make me think, 'how on earth can you take yourself so seriously?'
"All that is just cinema. Too many pats on the back, too much frivolity, in the end it's all a bit toxic…For exactly that reason I have to do other things."
I agree with George 100%. It amazes me how some celebs take themselves so seriously. The interesting thing is I was thinking about this last night at an event when a celebrity who shall remain nameless came and completely ignored my presence when I tried to talk to him. It irritates me when celebs think they are above everyone. At the end of the day we are all human and we are all breathing the same air right?
