Hollywood women can certainly be critical of their own body parts. And then there are the others, like new Bond Girl,
Gemma Arterton, 22, who is proud to be a little different.
In an interview with Esquire, she revealed that she was born with six fingers on each hand and that it even runs in her family. The condition, polydactyl, affects one out of every thousand babies born.
"It's my little oddity that I'm really proud of. People are really interested but repulsed at the same time. My dad had them, and my granddad. I feel like we're one-step ahead - a sign of things to come. We could do more stuff if we had extra fingers - faster texting, emailing, better guitar-playing."
Kudos to her for that awesome level of confidence.
