Speaking with the magazine recently he talked about his struggle to become a respected actor. He said, "I drove around in a Volkswagen Rabbit I shared with one of my roommates, and it didn't have a roof. It doesn't rain much in LA, but when it did, it was utterly miserable."
The gorgeous Gemma Arterton was also honored being named the International Woman of the year, while the Gorillaz were named best band.
Gossip Girl hottie Ed Westwick snagged up an award for Breakthrough Talent of the Year, and Giorgio Armani was named Designer of the year. Well deserved!

"Yeah, he is all right!" Prince of Persia co-star Gemma Arterton said of Jake Gyllenhaal kissing skills.
On working with Jake she tells Hollyscoop, "It was incredible. I was honored to work with him. He is a wonderful actor as well as everything else; he is funny and we just got along very well."
You can never judge people’s personality if you are as hot as Gemma. Who wouldn’t get along with her? Any guy would bend over backwards to make a good impression. Men would try to make a good impression even if she was the local grocery store clerk.

In an interview with Esquire, she revealed that she was born with six fingers on each hand and that it even runs in her family. The condition, polydactyl, affects one out of every thousand babies born.
"It's my little oddity that I'm really proud of. People are really interested but repulsed at the same time. My dad had them, and my granddad. I feel like we're one-step ahead - a sign of things to come. We could do more stuff if we had extra fingers - faster texting, emailing, better guitar-playing."
Kudos to her for that awesome level of confidence.

Not only that, but she was born with a deformed ear that she had to have reshaped. She tells Instyle, " I was born with lots of deformities." Well she definitely doesn't have any now!
