The rocker admits when he was 17 year old, he got intimate with a cross-dressing 80s pop singer by the name of Marilyn. "When you're 17, Jesus Christ. I don't think there's anything strange about any form of—you're learning about life," Gavin tells the magazine.
"It's a part of growing up. That's it. No more, no less."
If you were wondering….yes, that’s the same Marilyn who came forward last year, claiming to have had a several-year romantic relationship with Rossdale, who claims it was just a one-time hookup.
“That was it,” says Rossdale. “You have to know what you like, and I know what I like.
He adds that he never wanted to talk about it back then because his career as frontman of Bush was just getting started. “I think at the outset there was a sort of fear—that was right at the beginning of Bush, and I didn't want it to be part of it,” he explains. “It felt like a cheap shot, so I was like, "I'm not getting involved." I've never wanted to appear closed about it. It's not something I've talked about really because it's always been in the glare of a tabloid world. It's just one of those things: Move on.”
It still takes a lot of courage to talk about it now! We’re glad Gavin is able to open up about his past—it’s obviously shaped who he is today, and now he’s happily married with kids.
Seems like slowly but surely, all of Rossdale’s skeletons are coming out of the closet—first the revelation of his love-child daughter Daisy Lowe, and now this!

According to Love, she and Gavin Rossdale were sleeping together while he was with his now-wife Gwen Stefani. It’s common knowledge that the two dated for a few months, and Courtney has stated in the past that she was the one who dumped him in the end, right before he got together with Gwen.
Today, however, Courtney told Stern, "Everyone gave me so much shit because Gavin sounded like a lot like Kurt. But man, he was such an Adonis in his day! He got good in bed ... something happened. Maybe Gwen taught him, for all I know."
Stern asked, "You were [having sex] him while he was with Gwen Stefani?"
"Yes," Love replied. "She does know."
Stern then asked: "You mean he was having sex with you while he was with her?"
Courtney replied, "Everyone ... yeah ... and a few other people. We didn't have a lot of pressure on each other, but we did like each other quite a bit."
This is just weird. Even if Gwen does know, we’re pretty sure she would appreciate the information being broadcast for everyone to hear. She and Gavin have been through their fair share of bad times, one being in 2004, when he reportedly found out about a love child with another woman.
Courtney Love was obviously trying to stir up trouble and get publicity because she knows no one cares about her anymore. It’s all in the past, so who cares?!

According to Entertainment Weekly, Gavin will play a Goth rock star who may have a dark secret as a serial killer. Surprisingly, this isn’t Gavin’s first acting gig.
He co-starred in the 2007 heist flick How to Rob a Bank, Zoolander, Constantine, and The Mayor of Sunset Strip. Look for Goth Gavin on Criminal Minds this November.

According to an online website, Gavin has been dating other women! When you have a wife that looks like Gwen, why would you stray?
Apparently, there are pics of Gavin with one of the girls is floating around the Internet. Rumor has it Gwen and Gavin have been done for a while, but want to wait until the tour is over to announce it.
“This story is completely, 100% false,” Stefani’s rep tells Hollyscoop exclusively.
We’re happy that this was just a nasty rumor! Gwen and Gavin always look so happy together, especially when they’re with their adorable children.

According to In Touch, a British pop star that goes by the name of "Marilyn" claims he and Gavin dated for 5 years back in the 80's, and even claims, "He was the love of my life. We were together five years, but it felt like 40."
In 1995, singer Boy George, who is still good friends with Marilyn, wrote about Gavin and Marilyn's love affair in his autobiography, Take It Like A Man.
In the book, Boy George described Rossdale as "very flirtatious and ambitious. When I was writing Take It Like A Man, Bush were well on their way to rock stardom and he appeared at my house to persuade me not to include him and Marilyn.
"I agreed to leave some stuff out but I wasn't prepared to lie. I don't think Marilyn has ever really got over Gavin."
Responding to Boy George's claims, Gavin previously said: "I wasn't dating Marilyn. We were, and still are, good friends. George thinks everyone is gay."
Hmm... this is interesting. It's literally a he-said, he-said situation. Gavin seems to be happily married to Gwen Stefani, and the couple just welcomed their second son this year, so these claims are pretty shocking.
