Gary Coleman is on life support after being hospitalized for a brain hemorrhage. He suffered the injury in his home in Utah on Wednesday, and since then things have significantly worsened.
Rep for the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center John Alcantar told E! in a statement, "As of mid-morning on May 27, Mr. Coleman was conscious and lucid. By early afternoon, Mr. Coleman was slipping in and out of consciousness and his condition worsened.
"We are saddened to announce that since mid-afternoon, Mountain Time, on May 27, 2010, Mr. Coleman has been unconscious and on life support."
"At this critical moment, we can only ask for your thoughts and prayers for Gary to make a speedy and full recovery," he added.
Gary has had his share of health problems in the past—just this past February, he suffered a seizure during an interview with The Insider.
Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this time. More details to come…
