Frieda is featured in the October issue of GQ Magazine in which she talks about getting international fame after Slumdog, dealing with collateral damage and working with Woody Allen.
Check out these smokin’ hot photos of Freida Pinto and the excerpts below...
On getting international fame after Slumdog Millionaire: "I felt like people almost got fed up with seeing our faces splattered all over the place."
On dealing with collateral damage: "In the movie, Jamal says, 'She's the most beautiful girl in the world.' I was like, Damn it. That's gonna be the end for me. I'm not going to get anything serious after that!"
On working with two virile directors, Woody Allen and Julian Schnabel: "Woody is someone I really respect, because he's a legend, but it's not like I got to know everything about his life. With Julian—we ended up sharing a very kind of personal relationship."

Pinto will take on the role of Caroline, a primatologist and John Lithgow who is also in talks for the film will play James Franco’s father.
Apes will be set in present day San Francisco, where man's own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.
Apes is not the only project that Pinto is working on. She is currently shooting Immortals which is due in theatres in 2011. She is also rumored to star in American Empire, which is about a beautiful young woman and her grunge-looking yet ultra-efficient hit man boyfriend race against time to forestall having to kill two friends falsely accused of "delusions of grandeur" and daring to steal from a new world crime boss.

We talked to Dev at the Kids’ Choice Awards, and he told us about his new movie with director M. Night Shyamalan The Last Airbender, which is a really different type of film than Slumdog.
“Its certainly a whole different board game for me,” he told Hollyscoop EXCLUSIVELY. “This is a whole different demographic.”
But the film, about a young successor to a long line of Avatars, sounds really cool! Dev said, “It’s a fantasy film and you get to see me do really bad martial arts.”
Getting back to Frieda though, we had to ask if he wanted to work with his girlfriend again on a film. But he confessed, “No we would just laugh the whole time. We would bust into giggles.”
Awwww, how cute are they?! We hope they can get over it and make another film, since Dev and Frieda were so brilliant in Slumdog!

Pinto has just signed a multi million pound deal to play James Bond's love interest in the 23rd Bond flick, which will be directed by Kate Winslet's now estranged husband Sam Mendes.
A source said: "Sam has been talking about Bond for months now and is so excited about it. The project has been in the pipeline for months and Freida was always the dream Bond girl, but initially she was nervous about accepting it. This is going to be the most ambitious 007 yet. Sam plans to reinvent the genre.
"Peter Morgan, who wrote 'The Queen', has penned the first draft of the script and it promises to be visually stunning."
Actress Olivia Wilde has also been approached to play a double-crossing UN worker based in Afghanistan. Two hotties and Daniel Craig? We're sold!

Making the list this year are newcomers like Freida Pinto and her Slumdog Millionaire co-star (and rumored boyfriend) Dev Patel. And then there are the old stand-bys, like Miley Cyrus, Shia LaBeouf, and Scarlett Johansson.
Regardless of being new or old to the list, these “kids” have established themselves in Hollywood, apart from all the thousands of other young actors in LA.
The real vets of the list are Rob Pattinson, Megan Fox, Michael Cera, and Keira Knightley.
The question is…do they have the staying power to make the next inevitable jump for the best 30 under 30? Check out the list here, and check out these hot Hollywood youngens!

The couple, who have been dodging romance rumors for months, were reportedly caught kissing last week in Israel after Dev flew into town to see Freida on the set of her new movie Miral.
While they've both denied claims that they're dating in the past, Dev's mother has finally spilled the beans about their romance, and she couldn't be happier!
Dev's mother Anita tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "First it was the film and now everything else seems to have slotted into place. Life can’t get any better for him. Freida is really beautiful and I am really happy for them. Yes, we knew he was flying to Israel to see her."
That's quite the confession! Wonder what Freida's estranged husband thinks about all this?!

The latest to be cast in the film is Nicole Kidman. She joins Naomi Watts, Antonio Banderas, Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins, and Freida Pinto. Talk about an awesome cast!
Maybe the huge success of Vicky Cristina Barcelona made all these big stars flock to Woody. No plot details have been released yet.
Nicole is one of the busiest women in Hollywood right now. She has many films in the development stage, including The Danish Girl opposite Charlize Theron; Monte Carlo and period film Alexander The Great, co-starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Those all sound like huge movies.
It’s so amazing to see how Nicole has had such staying power in Hollywood. And to think that Nicole recently said that her role in Baz Luhrmann’s Australia might be her last, and that she didn’t want to make films anymore. Looks like she’s still in it for a few more years!

Freida first caught the eye of the producers while they were shooting Quantum of Solace, and now that Slumdog has done so well, she’s become one of the most sought-after actresses in the biz.
To sweeten the deal, we hear Danny Boyle will be directing he next Bond movie, which would seriously help her chances. Executive producer Barbara Broccoli apparently wants Freida over any other actresses for the role.
A source close to the set says, “Freida came to the attention of the Bond team when they were casting Quantum of Solace. She was too young at the time to have a part as a love interest for a secret agent.”
“But she has blossomed into an incredibly stunning young woman and would look perfect on Daniel Craig’s arm. “Danny Boyle is the favorite to take the helm of the next movie, which would increase Freida’s chances of a starring role.”
We could definitely see Freida playing a Bond girl. The women cast are always beautiful, but very strong and smart, which are two characteristics we see in Freida. Plus we just want to see more of her after her amazing performance in Slumdog!

Anil attended a private party at Beso in Hollywood last night honoring Salma Hayek. And partygoers and media outlets were all buzzing about the star, and greeted him with open arms.
Hollyscoop caught up with the actor to get his thoughts on the possibility of Dev and Danny making a special appearance on 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire.'
When asked if he would want to host the 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' Slumdog edition show, he said he would like to "take on the role as host and have Freida Pinto in the hot seat."
In regards to other hosting duties, he said he wanted to host a type of show that had never been done before, "something different," he explained.
Dev Patel and Slumdog director Danny Boyle are already trying to sync up their schedules so they can participate in the hit show.
“Filming of the special depends on when both are available, as they are in huge demand following their Oscar success. But we hope it will happen later this year," said a source.
"To have Dev back in the Millionaire hot-seat would be brilliant, and would do a lot for the charity.”
“Danny and Dev would play together, as with all our celebrity specials, but filming depends on their availability," added the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? producer Celador.
So far the plan is to have Dev in the hot seat and have Freida as his lifeline, which would mimic the hit movie.
Sounds like a brilliant idea to us, especially since all the money will go to the children’s charity Railway Children, which helps children living on the streets. And having Anil host the program would be the cherry on the sundae!

Here are some highlights from the interview:
Anil:
“I have been in films as a leading man for the last 25 years. I’d done over 100 films as a hero. My son said, ‘Dad, enough of playing a good man – you have to do this.’ I started shooting, and I changed as a human being. I am from a very simple background, almost like from the slums. Now, what a special time. It’s magic.”
Dev:
“I was a 17-year-old kid. I didn’t really know where I was going to end up,” he says. “And this film sort of fell in my lap. It feels like destiny in a way. Even now, the film winning the Oscar is very surreal. The character’s given me so much, not only as an actor but as a person. I remember when production began, I was a ball of nerves, didn’t really know how to work in front of a camera or how to express myself. I was a lot more introverted. And Danny Boyle came along – and this incredible city, which taught me about being an optimist. I feel I can hold my head up high now. I feel like I matured five years in the space of five months. I’m 18 and I was at the Oscars yesterday!”
Freida:
“I was struggling. I was presenting this travel show. I was coming to the end of it and had enjoyed the nine months of traveling. I was like, Oh, now my life’s over. I’m not going to have anything interesting to do. I was frustrated that I hadn’t found the right project. But now I think that the fruit of the struggle ends up being the sweetest taste possible. I mean, this is strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, apples, bananas – the sweetest fruits in the world put together. It changed my life. It made me grow. It’s made me equipped to brave challenges in the future. You can’t predict the future, but I do have this optimism and this hope that if I just continue dreaming and continue working the same way, then I’ll be unstoppable.”
