“Pretty soon,” according to Josh. “We hope to have a baby pretty soon."
Well, that should be fun. He added: “I've always loved kids, so I can't wait to have them myself. I'm excited about it.”
The baby talk has been swirling since May, when Fergie told Hollyscoop:
“[The Black Eyed Peas] are taking a break.” We then asked if she had plans to start a family, and Fergie told Hollyscoop: “Oh yeah, of course.”
The singer added: “Not right this second, not pregnant for the record.”
Josh, who previously said he wants to have five kids, has changed his number, just a little.
“I think we’ll have two,” Josh said. “That’s been the number.”
That's a little more reasonable. We don't need another TLC show.
So how does Fergie feel about two kids?
“I feel fine with that, I think that's good,” she told Hollyscoop. “I like that number.”
Josh added: “I've always loved kids, so I can't wait to have them myself. I'm excited about it.”
We asked Duhamel what he’s been up to since Fergie’s break. The heartthrob told us:
“I’m going to work but when she’s home I’m going to try to be there as often as possible."
Cue the baby-making music.
And she might not officially be pregnant yet, but Fergie has already been brushing up on her domestic duties:
“I’m going to be at home probably with my dogs and my husband and also decorating my house, I’ve never gotten to do that,” Fergie told Hollyscoop. “I’m cleaning out the closet, I’m doing all of that.”
And not only is he hot, Josh is a hell of a husband, too.
"I don't think of us as an 'It' couple. I don't look to publicise our relationship, because I know what we have, and the rest of the world doesn't need to know,” Duhamel said. “That said, I don't mind talking about her, because I'm proud of her and I love her."
Since the break, Josh has been “excited” to spend more time with the missus:
“We do want to take some time together and I'm excited to have more time with her, but we always consider the other person when we're doing something and make sure we're scheduling enough time to be together. That's the only way to make it work."
